Health-related Stores that operate through the aid of the net are called Online Pharmacies. While several of these sites offer drugs only if given a prescription, you will find several which overlook this factor. A Canadian Pharmacy is a popular trend resulting from this technology, offering the customers an extraordinary experience of bringing the medicines they require their doorstep, absolutely free.

The advantage of having to travel less and save on spending are just some of the positive factors in favor of online shopping for medicines. Anything you require is delivered cost free at your doorstep on request.

Buying prescribed drugs can make a huge hole finances as far as certain countries such as the USA are concerned. Virtual pharmacies make it affordable for all. Moreover lack of a prescription does not lessen your reach to any kind of medication which you are required, when you shop in this manner.

The reduced price of prescribed drugs attracts people of other countries to shop online from outlets in Canada. Several Americans are known to visit neighbouring countries just for bulk purchase of medicines.

Quite a few companies, however, dispenses drugs without any kind of valid medical prescription. It is this practice that is worrisome to the authorities. who are primarily concern with the safety of everyone. When medicines are sold without validation, the chance of fraudulent and adulterated drugs being sold in the market increases. And it also also exposes the consumer to the danger of taking pills that is probably not suitable to his constitution, thus causing adverse results.

This method heightens a great deal of considerations concerning the safety of lives. Handing over medicines without proper authentication is a dangerous practice. Insufficient counter measures may result in proliferation of contaminated drugs or duplicate manufacturers. Moreover dispensing medicine without correct examination of a patient is not to be encouraged, since it could prove to be fatal or lead to near fatal conditions.

Customers coming from different countries save anywhere between fifty to eighty per cent on the cost price by shopping at these stores. This can be a big benefit for those with little or no health insurance cover and particularly when going through treatment for chronic ailments. These outlets also offer a number of of non-prescription drugs and health products that can be purchased over-the-counter at reduced rates. Laxatives, antacids, antihistamines and pain relievers are usually the wide product selection that are made available to people in this manner.

Clients of online Canada pharmacies are well taken cared. Regular follow up supplies take place automatically. Only products of reputable and leading manufacturers are offered. Strict rules prohibit usage of customer data base for any other marketing purpose. The safety of every transaction is assured.

Good ethics and social responsibility form core principle of the Canadian Pharmacy. The Canadian International Pharmacy Association serves as the watchdog to achieve this end, for, failure to comply with its rules will result in cancellation of the accreditation of the pharmacy.

I’ll bet that when you saw this headline that you thought it was a joke and that I was just making it up! Well it is a little bit “tongue in cheek” but I actually did mean what I said. Saline nasal spray can help you run faster!

A while ago I became interested in what is called “Chi Running”. I became so interested in it that I actually went through the process of becoming a certified instructor. What we discover is that when you change the balance of the person and you change how they use their energy while they run, you can effect a change in how fast they run– and more importantly— whether they are likely to get an injury.

Lots of people every year get an injury of some sort while they are running. My goal as a Chi Running instructor is to eliminate these injuries and eliminate the setting that caused the injuries. One of the surprising things that has come up through the study of breathing is that how you breath can really affect the likelihood of an injury. So how is this all connected?

It may seem like an indirect connection but it is definite that how you breath affects how you move. Breathing through your nose activates a part of your nervous system that just causes the heart to beat slower. Breathing through your nose creates a limit on how much oxygen is available. If there is a “shortage” you will simply slow down. Do you see how this can affect your likelihood of an injury? If you give in and start mouth breathing (or mouth “gasping”) you will end up going faster than your system is prepared to handle which means you’re more likely to get tired or to get sloppy—this equals an increased risk from running. .

So what does this have to do with Saline Nasal Solution that can be used as a Nasal Spray? Simple. Lots of people have subtle or not so subtle congestion issues in their nose. That makes it artificially harder to breath through their nose, so they start gasping through their mouth, run faster than they ought to and increase the risk for an injury! If they can use a saline nasal spray before and during the run they can keep their nose more clear and improve the odds that they can continue more of the run breathing completely through the nose!

So there you have it– there’s the connection between saline nasal solution and running faster (running without injury). The saline nasal solution and spray makes it easier for you to breath through your nose. If you breath through your nose you are much more likely to run at the pace that your fitness level is ready to do. So clearly if you can use a simple strategy to keep your nose fully open while your run, you can really have less injury because your’re running at your best pace.

The purpose of this article is to put a little context in the articles that have focused on having a healthy nose and healthy sinuses through nasal saline spray or nasal saline solution. The nose, after all, does not exist by itself. But being part of the body it can surely draw a lot of attention to itself when things aren’t going well.

The health of the nose is affected by many other things outside of the nose. I have found that nutrition is a major issue in having a healthy nose. The cells of your body are all affected by the nutrition to the body. It stands to reason that the cells of the nose are also affected by the nutrition to the body. So while I think using a nasal saline spray is important for nasal health, you can’t ignore these other issues.

So the cells in the nose are very much affected by the nutrition in the body. While this is obvious if you think about it, the trouble is that most of us don’t think about it. Very often people with chronic nasal problems or chronic sinus problems just don’t pay attention to how they are eating. They are often eating “garbage”. If you eat garbage you are much more likely to have chronic nasal and sinus problems.

There are many many nutrients that are important for health. These nutrients can be supplemented to a diet. Now you can either supplement a good diet or supplement a bad diet. Which strategy do you think is more effective? It is a sad fact that many people who do supplement are in fact eating a bad diet most of the time. This guarantees that the nasal cells will not be healthy. Even if you do use a good nasal saline solution you will not have a good outcome in the long run.

There are over 50 key nutrients that are useful and helpful to supplement and all of them directly or indirectly play a roll in the immune function of the body. If any one of them are low, there is a bad effect on the body’s immune function. We are beginning to understand this more and so we have a lot of information on a few nutrients and a lot of research available to support the supplementation of a few nutrients. But it is likely that all of the nutrients that are crucial to health can be useful to the body when supplemented.

I would like to summarize now: many things affect the health of the nose. It’s easy to focus on the more direct things like a nasal saline solution, but probably nothing is as important as nutrition. So if you get your nutrition right, your nose will be much more healthy.

During the European “Copper Age” five thousand years ago, a man of high ranking status fled his home valley of Val Venosta, Italy, across an Alpine glacier. But his enemies caught up with him. An arrow penetrated his subclavian artery, which soon bled him to death. In 1991, two unsuspecting tourists came upon his mummified remains. On the body of “Oetzi the Iceman” were found pouches with two medicinal mushroom species, the oldest known example of mushrooms used medicinally.

One of the mushrooms was Birch polypore – Piptoporus betulinus – which it is believed he used as a remedy against intestinal parasites. Eggs of the whipworm parasite (Trichuris trichiura) were found in his intestines. The other mushroom in the possession of Oetzi was Tinder fungus – Fomes fomentarius – which has been traditionally used in Europe to cauterize wounds and stop bleeding.

Both species belong to the group of mushrooms known as polypores, so named because of the many pores underneath. They often grow on trees, and to date no species is known to be poisonous to humans.

Polypores are usually considered inedible due to the fact that they are hard and wood-like. But for ancient peoples all across the globe – from China and India to Europe and the Americas – polypore teas and poultices have none-the-less been indispensible allies to human health at least for as long as written and oral traditions can recount.

Native American traditions tell of using different kinds of polypore extracts to combat smallpox and other diseases introduced with the arrival of Europeans. This includes Reishi (Ganoderma resinaceum), Chaga (Inonotus obliquus), Birch polypore, and Turkey tail (Trametes versicolor), as well as the now rare and endangered species Agarikon (Fomitopsis officinalis).

As it so happens, Agarikon is also the oldest mushroom referenced in European medical literature. It was listed by Dioscorides in the Materia Medica of 65 B.C. as a treatment for tuberculosis. In confirmation of this, Polish researcher K. Grzywnowics published an article in 2001 titled Medicinal mushrooms in Polish Folk Medicine where he states that Agarikon tea was historically used in his country as a remedy for lung conditions, as well as rheumatoid arthritis, open bleeding and infected wounds.

So far, we’ve only covered the history of medicinal mushrooms in Europe and America and have barely even touch upon their use in Asia, where their use has been even more exhaustive. At least three Asian species must be included in any article on the history of mushrooms.

First is the polypore Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), which has been used in China and Japan as a health bestowing mushroom of immortality for at least two millennia. It was first mentioned in the 2,000 year old book Shen Nong’s Herbal Classic. Many ancient wood-carvings and temple engravings in the Orient bear testament to the homage paid to this acclaimed cure-all mushroom.

Another Chinese medicinal mushroom known as Cordyceps was first described in the 200 A.D. book The Classic Herbal of the Divine Plowman. Cordyceps was, and still is, largely used as an aphrodisiac and to improve physical prowess in athletes, although modern research also indicates many other areas of potential usefulness.

Finally there is the Shiitake mushroom, which today is a common household name even in the West. In Asia, however, it is known to have been cultivated as a gourmet mushroom for at least a thousand years. What may surprise is that Shiitake is also one of the most researched medicinal mushrooms in the world. Its potential uses range from energizing tonic to immune-booster and antibiotic with anti-tumor properties.

Scientific research on medicinal mushrooms began in Japan in the late 1960’s. A ground-breaking study by Dr. Ikekawa found that mushroom growers and their families had lower cancer rates then the communities in which they lived. Today, medicinal research into mushrooms has expanded exponentially around the world and is still increasing. Medicinal mushrooms are still making history.

Note: This article is for informational purpose only. None of the mushrooms mentioned herein have been approved for medicinal use by the FDA. Never use any mushroom medicinally without consulting a licensed medical practitioner.

Dr. Markho Rafael has worked in the natural health field since 1996 as a researcher and author, now specializing in fungi for health. Click medicinal mushrooms for mushroom articles and products. The material for this article comes from several different sources. However, a large portion comes from the books of medicinal fungi expert Paul Stamets, who deserves special credit and thanks.
