Your Healthy Body = A Healthy Marriage

Mary had grown up slim. However, her figure tended to move outward a bit when it came to her thighs. Still, she was very attractive and looked good in her clothes. After she’d had three children, though, her body began to move outward all over. She liked the fact that it gave her bigger breasts, but the rest was depressing to her. Actually, she was feeling trapped. Her husband was working overtime to deal with additional costs and had little time to help her with the kids.

Her unhappiness began to chip away at their relationship. Although he never mentioned her … Continue Reading

The Good – The Bad – In Men

There was an article I read about a man who asked an adviser, “Why do girls go for the bad guys?” He was a decent man he explained. He treated women politely, brought them flowers and generally respected them. Then along comes a charmer who does just the opposite and wins the girl the good guy is hoping to attract.

Men Are Rescuers

In Richmond, California, something in a garage exploded and soon the house next door caught fire. Reportedly, since it was in a high crime area, the front porch was ringed with security bars. The doors couldn’t be opened without a key – even from the inside. Six people were trapped, because, in their panic, no one could find the key that unlocked the doors.

“I love my husband and want to share things with him; but he turns cold and refuses to listen or talk. Why?”

Think about the following if you are the non-talker and want to save your marriage. (If you are the talker, please feel free to give this to your loved one. No, don’t throw it at him/her… give it with a kiss and say, “I thought you might find this interesting.”)

* Maybe you are angry at someone; or are just angry by nature and that’s your comfort zone…

* Or you grew up in a home where they didn’t have conversations…

* … Continue Reading

You Are Forgiven Ryan

When he was introduced to Hailey, Ryan knew that she was the one. She wasn’t as gorgeous as a few he’d known, but that was all right. She was attractive, intelligent, and easy to get along with. She admired and respected him, too.

After they were married, she fulfilled his desires by presenting him with adorable children. He was a happy man. His desires, for the most part, had been met.

By the time the children were in their teen years, though, Ryan’s mind had begun to wander. Home had become unpleasant in too many ways. His kids were noncompliant; he was … Continue Reading
